OUT OF RUBBLE – The Phoenix Rising

MillerDANCE will engage and inspire audiences December 9th and 10th at SPACE Gallery. OUT OF RUBBLE – The Phoenix Rising is the synergy between dance and visual art.  The public will watch as the room comes alive and together in a moving sensory experience.  Inspired by Susan Slavick’s exhibit, OUT OF RUBBLE, renowned choreographer, Mary Miller has created a full length evening of dance; reflecting, reacting, and linking connections between the rubble of war and the culture of humanity that rises up and out.

With dance, art, and live music audiences will experience the reflecting, reacting, and linking of connections between the rubble of war and the "phoenix" in humanity -- our innate ability to overcome tragedy and rebuild our lives.


Within both evenings of performance, audiences will have the intimate opportunity to interact with the curator, Susanne Slavick and choreographer Mary Miller as they offer a pre-show wine and chat on December 9th, and a post-show reception on December 10th.
